session 1

This session was the easiest and the shortest. We just did icebreakers and introduced ourselves.

Overall, this was the most difficult session for us. The children were very distracted and did not want to listen to what we were saying. In the end, we had to divide ourselves and the children to decrease group size.

session 3

We took turns to lead the activities so there were also other members free to step in when there were disruptions. Overall, we achieved our goals during the activities and the children were mostly cooperative.

Group Dynamics

In general, I feel that we have a good relationship with each other. We usually divide the workload and roles among us. We ask each other which role we think we would do best.

But, was there no fights or problems?

Yes of course we did! For instance, my friend and I had a conflict over who should do the debrief. We had a conflict of interest. However, we used the conflict resolution model by Kare Anderson to solve our problem! This is how we did it!

My Main Needs

I thought it would be better if my friend did the debrief as they were better at explaining to the children.

Their Main Needs

They thought it would be better if I did the debrief as I was better at the topic.

Propose a Solution

We decided that we both can do the debrief together. I can debrief the topic while they can make sure the children understand.

Listen to them

We both listened to each other's point of views.
